McKinsey agrees to pay $78 million to reimburse insurers, amongst others


The US Facilities for Illness Management mentioned that, between 1999 and 2021, round 280,000 folks died within the US because of overdoses from prescription opioids. In 2021, McKinsey agreed to pay almost $600 million to US states, the District of Columbia, and 5 US territories. In September 2023, the agency agreed to pay $230 million in a separate settlement with faculty districts and native governments.
