Add coffee ground directly on your compost, it is full of Nitrogen. Remember that your compost must be balanced between ingredients with a high nitrogen and carbon content such as sawdust, twigs or dried leaves. If the compost starts to produce a slight odor, it is a sign that you have too much nitrogen and enough carbon. So don’t overuse the coffee grounds in the compost.
